Downtown Planter Boxes

How do you make a sidewalk look better? Add planter boxes. The Southport Garden Club maintains 14 different planter boxes that are scattered around the Downtown area.

Just about every morning, particularly in the hot summer months, you’ll see Club members out and about watering plants, removing weeds and depending upon the season switching out plants plants. These boxes are a favorite of residents and visitors alike for the beauty they bring to the Downtown area.
